When using the 2 part pilot pin and drilling material greater than 2" thick, when the pilot pin reaches the extent to which it can retract inside
the Magnet Drill arbor, the bottom section of the pilot can be removed to allow the hole to be completed without removing the pilot pin
from the cutter.
